WLB3 Workshop Campaign - Replacing ground point for
external power connection
Overview
A ground screw for the external power connection that has too much specific resistance due to its surface
condition was installed on the affected vehicles.
As a result, the vehicle electrical system battery cannot be sufficiently charged due to the excessive contact
resistance between the terminal clamp and ground screw.
To prevent this, the ground screw for the external power connection must be replaced by a combination of
double screw and contact pin with an optimized surface.
Please arrange for this measure to be carried out on the affected vehicles the next time the vehicles come into
the workshop.
