BMW AG has requested the inspection of the following part numbers:
51 31 7 177 297
Stock should not be sold or installed on any vehicle until inspection has been
completed.
Concerned are all parts delivered and shipped so far.
Please return all affected part(s) to your facing Regional Distribution Center (RDC).
Submit for return using a YR26 damage claim with order reason BM2. A valid BMW
delivery and delivery item number must be entered, and TEC225 must appear in the
text of your TEC claim.
TEC225 is valid from March 06, 2020, through March 20, 2020. The deadline for
filing a claim under TEC225 is March 20, 2020. All parts must be returned to
your facing RDC no later than April 03, 2020.
Please reorder the same part number if needed.
