Summary
TSB: TMNA Accessory Sales and Marketing has developed a Toyota
paint protection film (PPF) decal (treated with a specially developed light adhesive) for 2021 model year Toyota vehicles. The decal comes in two sizes (2.8 in. x 8 in. and 4 in. x 8 in.) for small and large hoods and will be applied to the top of PPF for all series at TLS accessory installation facilities. The decal is intended to stay affixed to the film until delivery detail/wash. Just before customer delivery, follow the Removal Procedure in this bulletin to remove the decal and any residue left by the adhesive.

Introduction
TMNA Accessory Sales and Marketing has developed a Toyota paint protection film (PPF) decal
(treated with a specially developed light adhesive) for 2021 model year Toyota vehicles. The
decal comes in two sizes (2.8 in. x 8 in. and 4 in. x 8 in.) for small and large hoods and will be
applied to the top of PPF for all series at TLS accessory installation facilities. The decal is
intended to stay affixed to the film until delivery detail/wash.
Just before customer delivery, follow the Removal Procedure in this bulletin to remove the decal
and any residue left by the adhesive.

Removal Procedure
Decal Removal
1. With a fingernail, pick up one of the corners
of the hood decal.

NOTICE
Do NOT push down on the decal while
picking up the corner.
2. Lift the loose corner of the decal until
there is enough loose material to grab.

3. Slowly pull the decal up and away from
the sticking surface, being careful not to
force it.

Residue Cleaning
1. Apply a small amount of 70% isopropyl
alcohol, Goo Gone®, or equivalent to a
clean cloth and wipe down the adhesive
area using a circular motion.

NOTE
If using a spray cleaner, apply a light mist
and allow the liquid to settle.
Make sure to clean the surrounding area.
2. Once ALL adhesive is removed from the
vehicle panel, perform a final inspection.

with spray wax.
