Some 2019-2020 model year 4Runner SR5 and TRD Off Road grade models with Dunlop Grandtrek
AT20 P265/70R17 tires may experience vibration (flutter) in the steering wheel when driving at
highway speeds 55 mph and above.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Seeking Go and See on vehicles that meets these criteria:
1) No aftermarket wheels and/or tires
2) Exhibits steering wheel vibration (flutter) while driving 55 mph and above
3) Vehicle has less than 5,000 miles on the odometer
4) Vehicle has OEM P265/70R17 Dunlop Grandtrek AT20 tires
5) No prior repair attempts on wheels and tires (wheel/tire assemblies have never been removed
from the vehicle and remain as installed by assembly plant – Do not remove the wheels/tires)
If this condition is found:
Please contact TAS before performing any work on the vehicle.
Please hold vehicle for a minimum of 2 hours to allow decision on go and see.
If it is a Sunday or holiday, continue with diagnosis and repair, and contact TAS at the next
available opportunity.
