Product Second Source Notice - Handles for vented exit picture windows
Dear Valued Customer:
Please be advised, LCI is being proactive in adding a domestic second source for handles on our vented exit
picture windows to prepare for potential supply shortages from China due to the coronavirus.
An internal analysis indicated we can mitigate potential product shortages and potential price increases
by adding the second source. The second source affects 30 X 20 VEPWs and 30 X 22 VEPWs. There are no
changes in fit, form, function, installation or operation of the windows. The current handle is approximately
9" and the second source, 7”.
Pricing will remain the same with the domestic source. The part number for the import handle (current
source) 389567. The part number that will be used temporarily for the new handle is 2020104066.
The change is expected to begin on or around March 16.
