Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor, Replacement

Park the vehicle on a level surface with the steering wheel in the straight ahead position.
Apply the parking brake.
Place the transmission in neutral or park.
Install the wheel chocks.
Disconnect the cable from the battery's negative terminal.
Open the fairing (if applicable).
Disconnect the lanyard.

8. Remove the fairing.

9. Remove the cable ties.

10. Disconnect the connector.
11. Remove the sensor.

Install the sensor.
Torque tighten the sensor. Tightening torque: 45 ±5 Nm (33 ±4 lbf‫ڄ‬ft)
Connect the connector.
Install the cable ties.
Position the fairing (if applicable).
Connect the lanyard.
Latch the fairing.
Connect the battery cable to negative (ground) terminal.
Remove the wheel chocks.

Instale el sensor.
Apriete el sensor. Torsión de apriete: 45 ±5 Nm (33 ±4 libras‫ڄ‬pie)
Conecte el conector.
Instale las correas.
Coloque el compensador (si es aplicable).
Conecte la amarra.
Asegure el compensador.
Conecte el cable de batería al terminal negativo (tierra).
Retire los bloqueos de las ruedas.
