1. Remove the screws (1) and (2).
2. Remove the screws.
3. Raise the top cover. Note: Ensure that the cable harnesses are not damaged.
4. Disconnect the connectors.
5. Remove the top cover.
6. Remove the gasket.

Install the gasket. Note: Use a new part.

23. Clean all the threads. Note: Protect the parts from dirt. Service hint: Clean the threads without removing the
control housing.
CAUTION: Risk of material damage. The screws are surface treated on delivery. Do not lubricate the screws.
24. Install the screws. Note: Start installing self tapping screws by hand to ensure correct location in the existing
threads.

25. Torque tighten the screws in sequence. Note: Torque tighten the screws diagonally.
