Oil Pressure Sensor, Replacement
Removal
1. Apply the parking brake and place the shift lever in neutral.
2. Disconnect all cables from the negative (ground) battery terminals to prevent personal injury from electrical
shock and prevent damage to electrical components.
3. Raise the vehicle hood.

4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the EOP sensor (thermal management) installed in the oil filter
housing.

5. Remove the EOP sensor and O-ring from the oil filter housing.

Installation
1. Install the replacement EOP sensor into the oil filter housing and tighten to specification (see Function Group
20 torque specifications). Be sure to use a new O-ring on the sensor.
2. Reconnect the wiring harness connector to the EOP sensor.
3. Close the vehicle hood.
4. Reconnect all previously removed cables to the negative (ground) battery terminals.
5. Clear any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
6. Start and run the engine and check for leaks.
7. Check the engine oil level and add engine oil as needed.

Desinstalación
1. Aplique el freno de estacionamiento y coloque la palanca de cambios en punto muerto.
2. Desconecte todos los cables de los terminales negativos (tierra) de la batería para evitar lesiones por
descargas eléctricas y daños en los componentes eléctricos.
3. Levante el capó del vehículo.

4. Desconecte el conector de arnés de cableado desde el sensor EOP (administración térmica) instalado en la
carcasa del filtro de aceite.

5. Retire el sensor EOP y el aro sello desde la carcasa del filtro de aceite.

Instalación
1. Instale el sensor EOP de reemplazo en la carcasa del filtro de aceite y ajuste según las especificaciones
(ver especificaciones de torsión del Grupo de funciones 20). Asegúrese de utilizar un nuevo aro sello en el sensor.
2. Reconecte el conector del arnés de cableado al sensor EOP.
3. Cierre el capó del vehículo.
4. Vuelva a conectar todos los cables retirados anteriormente a los terminales negativos (tierra) de la batería.
5. Elimine los códigos de diagnóstico de problemas (DTC).
6. Encienda y deje funcionar el motor y compruebe si hay fugas.
7. Revise el nivel de aceite del motor y agregue aceite de motor, si es necesario.
