Headlight Anti-Fog Enhancements for
High Heat and Humidity

INTRODUCTION:
This bulletin announces availability of new headlamp assemblies which include the following
enhancements:
•

Additional ventilation added for optimized temperature control inside the headlamp housing.

•

The added temperature control enhances performance of the anti-fogging coating on
the inside of the headlamp lens, improving its resistance to prolonged high temperature /
humidity conditions.

•

The material used for the
ventilation opening caps
(sponges) has been changed.

•

The end rubber portions have
been changed to enhance their
appearance and fit between the
headlamp and bumper cover.

•

The end rubbers have also
been made available to order as
separate components.
