Update 3/30/20
Please be advised that the scope of this campaign has been expanded, and additional vehicles have been

added.
A revised VIN list is attached, and workshop instructions have been uploaded to this post, and within PCSS.
Important note: remote key parts needed for this campaign should now be ordered directly by the dealer (by
VIN) through PPL -> L&K (ZNLK) order.

When completing these orders, be sure to enter the correct VIN in both the VIN field AND in the “DLR
Comment” section on the order line.

1. In PPl, choose Orders & Claims -> Create Order
2. Choose L&K Order (ZNLK order type)
3. Enter your dealer PO

4. Enter correct VIN for the campaign
5. Enter part number 9J1959753AC and quantity 2

6. Enter the correct VIN again in the "DLR Comment" section of the order line. This will enable the VIN to be
printed on the part tag when you receive your keys.
7. Click "Confirm/Close"

See attached sample below (WKK8 Key Ordering) for a visual guide of this ordering process.

Important Reminder!
This campaign should be completed as vehicles and Remote Control keys arrive to your dealer, prior to RDR /
customer delivery, while vehicles are still in dealer hands. Completing this Workshop Campaign in a prompt
manner will ensure:

• Higher initial vehicle quality
• A reduction in customer frustration
• Avoidance of additional customer wait time or an additional dealer visit
All initial Taycan allocations will have campaign WKK8 open upon arrival. Please complete this campaign on
these vehicles, including demos.

Update 1/31/20
An updated VIN list is now attached with additional shipped vehicles.
Once vehicles ship from port, PCNA parts support will order the corresponding remote keys to be coded and
shipped from the PDC to your dealer. Please perform this campaign once the remote keys arrive to your
dealer.

Dealers do not need to order keys. All required parts will be automatically shipped to your dealer.

Important Update 12/17/19 - Reactivation of WKK8
Workshop Campaign
All dealers with incorrect Taycan Remote Key assignments have been individually contacted by PCNA Parts
Support on December 13-14 and provided shipping labels and instruction for key return.
All other Remote Keys from this initial shipment were assigned and shipped to the correct dealer/VIN.
With this information, the WKK8 Workshop Campaign is now reactivated and may be carried out for
Taycan vehicles that are arriving or have already arrived.

Dealers can cross reference VIN with order number in PPL to ensure correct key to vehicle assignment.
Note: the attached VIN list will be updated each day that additional vehicles have shipped from port.

Important Update 12/13/19 - Temporary Suspension of
WKK8 Workshop Campaign
Please be advised that there has been a change in the number of available Taycan vehicles that can be

assigned at each port.
Due to this new information, the VIN / Dealer list previously attached to this post is now inaccurate and has
been removed.

In some cases this means that dealers are now in possession of the wrong Remote Key parts, as they are
pre-coded to VIN at PDC.
Updated information will be provided to you via this post when available, regarding next steps. At this time,
please do not attempt to carry out this workshop campaign until further instructed to do so.
All updates will be made via this space in PPN.

An updated VIN list for WKK8 is now available and attached to this post. 3 additional VINs have been

assigned to dealer numbers and these Remote Keys will be pre-coded and shipped from the Ontario PDC
today.
Note: WKK8 Remote Key parts may arrive prior to vehicle arrival to your dealer. If this is the case, there is no
need to contact the Ontario PDC. Please perform the WKK8 campaign once the vehicle and parts arrive.
This post will be updated with a new VIN list each time new keys are shipped.

Update: 12/10/19
Please be advised that the first batch of WKK8 Workshop Campaign Remote Keys for Taycan arrived to the
Ontario PDC this morning, were pre-coded to VINs and mailed today for the first 66 dealer vehicles.

Additional Remote Keys will be coded at PDCs and mailed to dealers as they become available, prioritized by
which vehicles will arrive to dealers first (starting with settlement states).
This post will be updated with a new VIN list each time new keys are shipped.

WKK8 Workshop campaign - Replacing remote controls and
teaching new remote controls
Overview

There is a possibility that the keyless Comfort Access function "open on approach“ does not work as specified

on the affected vehicles.
Due to this, the remote controls must be replaced and new remote controls have to be taught to be recognized

by the vehicles.
Please arrange for this measure to be carried out as the affected vehicles arrive to your dealer.

General information about the parts handling:
• Parts will be automatically allocated for each affected inbound Taycan assigned to your dealer.
• Please do not order additional parts, as orders will be denied.
• To easily identify the keys, PCNA will use the affected vehicle's VIN as your dealer's PO number in PPL.
• The affected remote controls should be scrapped or recylced directly.
• The required parts (9J1959753AC) are being processed and shipped from the Ontario PDC.
• Orders will be entered and begin to ship in calendar week 50.
