Overview
There is a possibility that some threaded joints on the front and rear axle do not meet the required
specifications on the affected vehicles.
This can cause increased play between the axle components over the service life of the vehicle.
To prevent this, the relevant bolts and nuts on the front and rear axle must be replaced and re-tightened to the
specified torque and torque angle.

next time the affected vehicles come into the workshop.

Please note that various bolt positions on the front and rear axle will have to be reworked on the affected
vehicles.
Specific campaign scopes have therefore been defined for reworking the threaded joints. Every vehicle is
clearly assigned just one campaign scope.
The part numbers of the required parts for each vehicle are provided in the assigned scope in the Technical
Information (TI).
The assigned scope can be found in PCSS Vehicle Information.
Ordering required parts
Required parts for affected vehicles can be ordered normally, without any need for PRMS or email for release.
Warranty processing
Please enter the campaign that was carried out in the Warranty and Maintenance booklet for the vehicle.
