Some 2020 model year NX300h vehicles equipped with a 2AR-FXE engine may exhibit a MIL ON
condition with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P013A (Oxygen Sensor Slow Response – Rich to
Lean Bank 1 Sensor 2). This condition may be caused by a leak from the exhaust manifold to front
pipe donut gasket. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition.

Repair Procedure
1. Does the vehicle exhibit a MIL ON condition with DTC P013A
(Oxygen Sensor Slow Response – Rich to Lean Bank 1 Sensor 2)?
YES — Continue to step 2.
NO — This bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis using the applicable
Repair Manual.
2. Check for a leak from the exhaust manifold to front pipe donut gasket.
HINT
Blow compressed air around the donut gasket and look for a change in B1S2 O2 sensor readings in
Techstream while the vehicle is in “Maintenance Mode.”
Do the B1S2 O2 sensor readings change while blowing compressed air around the
donut gasket?
YES — Continue to step 3.
NO — This bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis using the applicable
Repair Manual.
3. Replace the affected donut gasket between the exhaust manifold and the front pipe.
A. Remove the front pipe and gaskets.
Refer to TIS, applicable model and model year Repair Manual:

B. Reuse the front pipe and install NEW front pipe gaskets.

4. Clear ANY DTCs and test-drive the vehicle to confirm the condition is no longer present.
