Summary
A topcoat sealant was provided by our vendor that did not meet Thor Motor
Coach's standard for performance. This was used on 2019 & 2020 Magnitude and Omni Motorhomes. If the primary sealant does not provide sufficient coverage, the cabover window may experience water intrusion. The repair will be to remove the existing topcoat sealant and apply the proper urethane sealant.

performance. This was used on 2019 & 2020 Magnitude and Omni Motorhomes. If the primary
sealant does not provide sufficient coverage, the cabover window may experience water intrusion.
The repair will be to remove the existing topcoat sealant and apply the proper urethane sealant.

Note: In cold climates, please pull motorhome(s) in to a warm and dry environment and let
motorhome warm up before starting the repairs in this bulletin. Once complete, please
allow time for the urethane to cure before putting the motorhome(s) back into the cold
temperatures.
Instructions:
1. Remove the existing silicone sealant at the top and two sides of the cabover window
using a putty stick and peeling back the silicone.
BEFORE REPAIR
2. Use glass cleaner and soft cloth to remove any silicone residue.

3. Tape off the entire perimeter of the window (all sides including bottom) prior to
applying Urethane.
4. Apply a bead of urethane the length of the window on all four sides of the window,
applying on one side at a time.

5. Spray window cleaner on the bead of urethane and smooth down using paddle (see
photo below) or finger to ensure a solid seal – no voids or gaps.
6. If needed, clean off any Urethane from glass or front cap.
AFTER REPAIR
7. Inspect the cabover bunk inside for any signs of water infiltration. If signs of water
infiltration are detected, please contact the TMC Warranty Department for further
instructions at 1-877-500-1020.
