Dear Dealers,
This Service Bulletin provides the Check Lists of scheduled maintenance operations available
for the following models:
 899 Panigale
 959 Panigale
 1199 Panigale
 1299 Panigale
 Panigale V2
NOTE
The defined service intervals listed on this document are for use with motorcycles used
only on Racing tracks (such as in sporting competitions, not for amateur use).
This document includes all the operations and relevant mileage intervals we ask you to
perform in case the motorcycle is used in official sports events.

The list of the operations specified inside the Check List is an indication of the operations to
be carried out on the motorcycle since the use under extreme conditions can entail aboveaverage wear of the components, both structural and not; it is thus necessary to shorten the
mileage maintenance service intervals based on motorcycle use.
The Check List of scheduled maintenance operations for racing use consists of two tables, the
first one specific for 899 Panigale - 959 Panigale - 1199 Panigale and 1299 Panigale and the
second one only for the Panigale V2 model; next to each operation, there is the indication of
the relevant mileage at which the intervention is required.

Replace trimmed clutch plates pack
Tighten the screws retaining clutch cover and clutch
protection cover again (versions with magnesium covers only)
Tighten vertical and horizontal head cover again
(versions with magnesium covers only)
Tighten oil sump retaining screws again
(versions with magnesium sump only)

Tighten water-oil exchanger retaining screws again



Change engine oil and filter



Change engine oil intake mesh filter assembly



Check AIS reed valve and replace it if burnt



Check and/or adjust valve clearance



Check the wear condition of rocker arm sliding shoes



Check cam lobe wear condition



Replace mobile tensioner chain sliding shoe



Replace con-rod shell



Replace cylinder head gasket



Replace cylinder liner O-ring



Replace pistons


