Electrical Wall Chart and VPDM Cover Labeling
If equipped with Detroit Assurance 5.0, New Cascadia vehicles built starting September 9, 2019 come equipped
with a multi-purpose camera 2 (MPC2).
The diagram on the VPDM inside cover on New Cascadia vehicles built starting September 9, 2019 has a
generic description for fuse F14: F14-POWER FEED OUTPUT 5, BAT.
If equipped with Detroit Assurance 5.0 and a MPC2 camera, Fuse F14 is the fuse used for the MPC2 camera.
(If the vehicle is not equipped with Detroit Assurance 5.0, the fuse may be used for other purposes.) In the
future fuse F14 will be labeled: F14-EXP FUSE 7/LANE DEP/GUIDANCE, BAT.1
Fuse F63 is not labeled as optional on the VPDM inside cover. Fuse F63 is used for lane guidance systems
other than Detroit Assurance 5.0.
These descriptions have been causing confusion when troubleshooting Detroit Assurance 5.0 Lane Detection
Warning fault codes.
To clarify fuse uses and locations related to module 73F, please see Table 1 and Table 2 below.
