Followup Notice - Our records indicate that an EMISSIONS RECALL has not been completed on this vehicle; refer to the address card for the affected VIN. On your 2018 Accord Hybrid
, if an incorrect high voltage (HV) battery is installed the DTC P0A80 (Replace Hybrid Battery Pack) will be set. If the correct HV battery is subsequently installed, the DTC P0A80 cannot be cleared as required and may lead to a failed Inspection and Maintenance test. The new software version eliminates this issue.

What is the reason for this notice?
Our records indicate that an EMISSIONS RECALL has not been completed on this vehicle; refer to the address
card for the affected VIN. On your 2018 Accord Hybrid, if an incorrect high voltage (HV) battery is installed the
DTC P0A80 (Replace Hybrid Battery Pack) will be set. If the correct HV battery is subsequently installed, the
DTC P0A80 cannot be cleared as required and may lead to a failed Inspection and Maintenance test. The new
software version eliminates this issue.
What will Honda do?
Please call any authorized Honda dealer and make an appointment to have your vehicle's HEV battery system
software updated for FREE. Once you make an appointment for your vehicle, Please plan to leave your vehicle at
the dealer for at least half a day. However, your dealer can provide you with a better estimate of the overall time for
this service visit, as it may be necessary to make your vehicle available for a longer period of time. If you are not
the only driver of this vehicle, please advise all other drivers and passengers of this important information.

Nuestros registros indican que no se ha completado una CAMPAÑA DE EMISIONES en este vehículo, consulte
la tarjeta de dirección para ver el VIN afectado. En su Accord Hybrid 2018, si se instala una batería de alto voltaje
(HV) incorrecta se activará el código DTC P0A80 (Reemplazo del paquete de la batería híbrida). Si la batería HV
correcta es instalada posteriormente, el código DTC P0A80 no se podrá despejar como lo es requerido y puede
conllevar a fallar la prueba de inspección y mantenimiento. La nueva versión del programa eliminará este problema.
