Guidelines not showing on display screen when reverse gear selected.

Technical Background
Due to legal requirements, changes have been made to the visibility of guidelines in the Top view and Rear view camera systems on all vehicles
built from May 2018 in the following regions:
•

USA

•

Canada

•

Mexico

•

Puerto Rico

On the Top view camera system the guidelines are not visible on first reverse gear selection after engine start, the guidelines are visible on the
second selection and thereon after. If the PDC button is pressed the guidelines are always visible.
On the Rear view camera system the guidelines are never visible.

and no further action is necessary.
A groundless parts replacement under warranty will be redebited.
