supplied by Trimark, that were built between October 18, 2017 and July
25, 2019

CONDITION:

No start exhibited when PKS is not authenticating.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Thoroughly review entire service bulletin before starting work. If there are questions or concerns
with steps defined in this service bulletin, contact Spartan Motors USA, Inc. Customer & Product
Support Group.
All applicable industry safety standards must be followed when performing work identified in this
procedure.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS:
1. To locate the module, you will need to remove a Velcro attached panel. The module will be
located as indicated below specific to OEM photos. Refer to FIG. 2-1. For further info Contact
Spartan Customer & Product Support 1-855-589-9836 for placement of Trimark module.

The Trimark Module is located under the Velcro attached dash cover forward of entry step.
2. Once Trimark Module is located. Refer to FIG. 3-1. Remove all the electrical plugs (without
pulling on wires) and pull the module. Be sure to secure the existing both keys (FOBS) with
the old module. Refer to FIG. 3-1.

3. Plug all the connectors into the new module and attach Trimark module in the same location
the old one came from.
4. Using the new key FOB’s, verify that the vehicle passive keyless start system works with the
new key FOB’s.
5. Re-install all the panels that were removed from the vehicle.
6. Please return removed module, using provided RMA tag to avoid delays in payment.

location. The Trimark Module is located behind the Velcro attached lower dash cover forward of
entry step. Refer to FIG. 4-1.

instrument panel. (Use caution when removing the cover making sure not to unplug the ambient
