Introduction
The AutoStart System Test does not recognize the hood opening and closing when running the test on a model 579 or
567 chassis equipped with a VECU software version 9.8 and 9.9.
Resolution
Information Only
When performing the AutoStart System Test, run the test with the key in the ON position. This issue will be fixed in a
future VECU update. The fix will be announced in the Software Change Notices listed on the VECU software page.
