Before insstalling the tie-rod arm again:
a. Checkk the tie-rod

amage. Change, if nece
essary.
b. Thoro
oughly clean
n the contacct faces of th
he tie-rod arrm and stee
ering knucklle, as

as the screw

act faces off the tie-rod arm. Remo
ove burrs, ru
ust and
paint runs.
Take a lo
ong and a sh
hort screw from the kit.
n the threads of the new
w screws wiith Loctite 7063.

aporate untill the surface

pletely dry.
c. Applyy Loctite 243
3 to the scre

Install the screws (lon

Finally tig

550 ± 55 Nm
m (405 ± 40 ft.lbf) using

torque wrrench.
Repeat stteps 2 up to

od arm.
