PURPOSE
This bulletin highlights new model features, service,
and option package information for the 2020 Mirage
(U.S. models, other markets may be different). Review
the details that follow to familiarize yourself with this
information. Refer to the 2020 Mirage Service Manual
on MEDIC, MDL, or CD (p/n MSCD-016B-2020), and the
Owner's Manual for details on these and other features.
For information about the Display Audio or
Smartphone Link Display Audio (SDA), system, refer to
the audio system owner's manual in the glovebox.

rear of all models. Instead, the model name
appears on the left, and the trim name (SE, GT) is
shown on the right side.
Black Lug Nuts and Wheel Locks
A new accessory available for alloy wheels on LE
and GT models is black lug nuts and wheel locks.

Rear Cargo Shelf
All 2020 Mirage models will have the rear cargo
shelf (also called “tonneau cover”) installed at the
port as additional equipment.

All 2020 Mirage models are now equipped with
Automatic Climate Control.
HVAC SYSTEM
New Refrigerant (R1234yf)
To comply with upcoming refrigerant regulations, R1234yf has been adopted for all 2020 Mirage,
similar to other 2020 Mitsubishi models.
A/C Blower Fan Change
Brushless
blower motor
Blower Fan Changed to Brushless Motor Type
Like other Mitsubishi 2020 models, the blower fan
has been changed from a brush motor to a
brushless motor for more efficient operation on all
2020 Mirage.
This change is in compliance with the CAFÉ
regulation in North America and features:

Reduced blower motor weight.

Reduced power consumption at peak load.
NOTE: There are no changes to maintenance
procedures with the new blower motor.

A/C Compressor
The A/C compressor and the A/C driving belt have also been changed for more efficient operation
on all 2020 Mirage.
PLEASE NOTE:
D The disassembly method has changed due to the new shape. Refer to Service Manual for
proper disassembly procedures.

When replacing the driving belt, do NOT use the belt for 2019 models. The new belt is longer.
