PAB1089: SCREAMIN' EAGLE UPDATES FOR NOVEMBER 2019
Purpose for Parts and Accessories Bulletin
To inform dealers of:
• Screamin' Eagle® Pro Street Tuner calibrations on 2020 Touring models equipped with RDRS (Reflex Defensive Rider
Systems).
• Software enhancement to Screamin' Eagle Pro Street Tuner software for 2020 Touring models at WOT (Wide Open Throttle).
• U.S. - California: CARB (California Air Resources Board) approval on 2020 Milwaukee-Eight® and Sportster® Screamin'
Eagle Stage IV kits.

Key Messages
• Screamin' Eagle calibrations for 2020 RDRS equipped models are currently being updated due to lack of peak performance
levels. Updates to calibrations will be announced as they are released.
• Update all the dealer’s computers with the latest Pro Street Tuner software. The software is available for update through the
normal update process.
• U.S. - California: CARB approval of 2020 Screamin' Eagle performance products will be communicated through the bulletin
process as Harley-Davidson receive additional approvals.

Summary and Part Affected
Screamin’ Eagle Calibrations for 2020 RDRS Touring Models
Harley-Davidson has discovered that 2020 Touring models equipped with RDRS and Screamin' Eagle calibrations are not reaching
expected performance improvement levels set by the Screamin' Eagle team. The team is working through the necessary changes
to Pro Street Tuner calibrations for 2020 FL models with RDRS. Harley-Davidson is anticipating having the new calibrations
published by early December and will update dealers of the new calibrations through this bulletin.

Pro Street Tuner & Corresponding Software
• The Screamin' Eagle team has identified and provided adjustments of AFR (Air/Fuel Ratio) at WOT not previously allowed.
The WOT fuel adjustability is made through Lambda Performance Enrichment. Allowing the optimization of these AFR at WOT
improves top end performance while still being within compliance.
• See Figure 1. The Lambda Main Table is now set completely closed loop on 2020 Touring calibrations.
• See Figure 2. Lambda Performance Enrichment is enabled when rpm (Revolutions Per Minute) is greater than 2500 rpm and
throttle position is greater than 70%. Lambda Performance is adjustable from 0.800 Lambda (11.4:1 AFR) to 0.900 Lambda
(12.8:1 AFR) with the default setting set to 0.870 Lambda (12.4:1 AFR). Lambda Performance Enrichment above 25 s is not
adjustable to mitigate high exhaust gas temperatures.

Stage IV Kits – Sportster:
• U.S. - California: Stage IV and upgrade kits are now approved for use in 2020 Sportster models. Refer to Table 1 and Table
2.
