Complaint:
Shift quality complaints and/or automatic transmission in limp-home mode in combination with one or more of the
following fault codes: P060600, P072200, P072300, P072364, P072900, P073000, P073100, P073200, P073300,
P073400, P073500, P076F00.
Cause:
The output speed sensor can wander out of the signal trigger range due to mechanical vibrations. Under certain circumstances this can result in a failure to register the output speed of the automatic transmission until the next ignition
cycle.
Remedy:
The following Xentry Diagnostics add-ons must be installed for the following remedies:

Add-on 2909 for DVD 07/2013
Before carrying out the remedies, please check the corresponding vehicle data card for the necessary CODE (all specified code conditions must be fulfilled simultaneously).

Please install a fully integrated transmission control repair kit A 000 270 35 00 and update the software of the automatic transmission.

If the fully integrated transmission control (VGS) is intact, update the software of the automatic transmission.
If the fully integrated transmission control (VGS) is defective, install a fully integrated transmission control (VGS) repair kit A 000 270 35 00 and then update the software of the automatic transmission.
Remedy for vehicles with CODE 804, with CODE 01A, without CODE 32A, without CODE 35A:
If the fully integrated transmission control (VGS) is intact, update the software of the automatic transmission.
If the fully integrated transmission control (VGS) is defective, install a fully integrated transmission control (VGS) repair kit A 000 270 34 00 and then update the software of the automatic transmission.
