Electrical contact of engine control unit (CDID2).
Remedy:
Important:Engine control unit, rail/accelerator pedal must not be replaced!

Initial repair:
If fault code P213862, P213864, P225113, P019122 or P019185 is stored in the engine control unit
1.
Perform quick test
2.
Unplug both connectors on engine control unit and reconnect
3.
Erase fault memory
If fault code P211271 is stored in the engine control unit:
1.
Perform quick test
2.
Read/check part number of installed throttle valve actuator
If throttle valve actuator A651 090 00 70, A651 090 02 70 or A651 090 03 70 -> Continue with step 3

If throttle valve actuator A651 090 04 70 -> Continue with step 4
Perform throttle valve actuator test with DAS and replace if necessary after the test
Unplug both connectors on engine control unit and reconnect
Erase fault memory

Only in case of follow-up repairs:
If one of these fault codes reoccurs in the vehicle after the repair, then perform the following steps:
1.
Perform quick test
2.
Depending on the fault code, replace the female contacts on the wiring harness at the engine control unit
connector
•
