Cause:
Production flaw in VIN range WME4513011K685246 - WME4513801K727313
Due to a process error in the manufacture of the touchscreen, the internal resistance values of the touchscreen can
change,
shifting the input screen horizontally and therefore also shifting the input points horizontally (see photos).
Remedy:
Replace the unit.
Use a reconditioned unit wherever possible.
The unit serial number must be changed in VeDoc.
A map update must be performed because replacement units are always supplied with an old map version.
