Complaint:
Engine and/or AdBlue® indicator lamp lights up "Check AdBlue®" and/or "No start in XXX" appears in instrument clu-
ster.
Cause:
Software, component malfunction, incorrect fluid in AdBlue® system.
Remedy:
Note: Replacement of the AdBlue® tank or of the NOx sensors (front and/or rear sensor) is not effective.
1. Perform initial quick test.
2. Generate "Development data diagnosis sheet"(engine control unit, special processes, acquisition of diagnostic per-
formance data).
3. Update software of CDI control unit (N3/20).
Use the following versions:
. Vehicles with EuroVI (MP6) with DVD 11/2013 and add-on 3407
. Vehicles with EuroVI (MP6) with DVD 01/2014 and add-on 3408
. Vehicles with EPA14 (MH5) with DVD 11/2013 and add-on 3332
. Vehicles with EPA14 (MH5) with DVD 01/2014 and add-on 3350
4. lf other fault entries referring to the AdBlue® system are stored, these are to be processed first via the guided test
using Xentry DAS.
5. Reset the warning message via the guided test (includes erasing of fault memory). To do this, the tests offered for
each fault code must be processed individually.
6. Perform final test drive (at least 20 minutes).
Note: If following steps 3 to 6 is not effective: Create a PTSS case and attach all requested printouts listed below to
the case:
