As part of our ongoing quality improvement e orts, and to assist engineering
with product concern identi cation, the components listed below are on
restriction through GM PQC.
Please follow the directions below contact the PQC.

If there are DTCs pertaining to turbocharger vane position sensor performance or position
performance, please follow the instructions below:
1) Review the freeze frame/failure records prior to clearing the DTCs.
2) Review the Charge Air Boost Data.
3) Clear the DTCs and test drive the vehicle to see if any repeat.
4) Perform a turbocharger vane position relearn.
5) Review the Charge Air Boost Data a second time.
6) Review PIP5632 and upload the session logs to the case.
If your diagnosis leads to turbocharger replacement, please contact the Product Quality Center (PQC)
by opening a new case via Dealer Case Management (DCM) From the DCM home page, click on “New PQC Case”
found on the Technical Assistance tab.
Then in Global Connect click on the Support/Chat tab, TAC-PQC Tab, PQC -Parts Restrictions Templates to
Download the appropriate PQC -Parts Restrictions Template and save a copy to your computer, You can attach a
copy of the template to your PQC Case.
