PLEASE NOTE: This action is fully independent of the approved Emissions Modification Recall on
Cayenne Diesel Vehicles. For owner convenience, this action can be performed at the same time as
other service work, but can also be done independent of the diesel modification. Owners do not need
to receive the diesel modification in order to receive this repair.

for Reducing Agent
Overview
There is a possibility that values measured by the temperature sensor in the heating element will not be correct
on the affected vehicles due to contamination by the reducing agent (AdBlue). In addition, the reducing agent
can cause the heating ribs in the heating element to corrode as a result of the high temperatures, thereby
changing the resistance of the heating element.
The Check Engine light will be activated and the warning "Engine control fault - Visit workshop" will be
displayed in the instrument cluster in both cases. Furthermore, the message prompting you to add reducing
agent will be displayed and the remaining range will be limited to max. 1,050 km (652 mls) irrespective of the
actual reducing agent reservoir level.
To prevent this from happening, the heating element for the reducing agent with integrated temperature sensor
must be replaced with an optimised version.
PLEASE NOTE: If customers have previously paid for any repairs related to the heating element
for the reducing agent conditions described in the WH70 Campaign, they may submit required
documentation for possible reimbursement. All customers will be receiving a claim form along with

their Emissions Campaign Notification Letter, which provides instructions on how to properly submit
for reimbursement. The reimbursement processes will all be handled through the Garden City Group. If
you receive any customer questions/inquiries on previous repair reimbursement, please advise them to

Please note: Parts for this campaign will be automatically allocated to your dealership. Approximately
80% of the Heating Element Repair Kit (00004330413) and 60% of the Clamping Sleeve (95811122010)
will be allocated.
If you need additional quantities of the Clamping Sleeve (95811122010), dealers can order as normal if
necessary via Polaris.
