This bulletin is being sent to our customers who recently specified installation of the Bendix
TABS6 roll stability system on their new Heil trailer(s). At the request of the supplier, this system includes a QRN valve (balancing valve) which may not be mounted per the recommendations of the supplier.

This bulletin is being sent to our customers who recently specified installation of the
Bendix TABS6 roll stability system on their new Heil trailer(s). At the request of the supplier,
this system includes a QRN valve (balancing valve) which may not be mounted per the
recommendations of the supplier.
Heil Trailer requests that each trailer you possess listed on the original email, be
inspected and Technical Service informed (800-400-6913 or [email protected]) as to the
orientation of the part. If the valve is mounted incorrectly, Heil Trailer will send you a
replacement valve and pay labor to have the valve replaced at a repair facility of your choice.
The QRN valve is located at the front of the running gear frame on the left hand/street
side behind the bulk head fitting bracket (as shown in the picture on the second page of this
bulletin). If the valve is mounted to where the exhaust port is pointed in any direction but
downward, the valve is installed incorrectly and needs to be replaced.
Please inspect the valve and contact Heil Trailer Technical Service to proceed with either
eliminating the trailer from the list or obtaining a plan for part replacement.
