Cause:
Cause 1: The glow plugs installed are not approved.

Remedy:
Remedy for cause 1:
1. Remove glow plugs (see AR15.20-S-4111SE).
---------------------------------------2. Enter the vehicle identification number in the EPC to determine and procure approved glow plugs with identical
specifications.
---------------------------------------3. Install glow plugs (see AR15.20-S-4111SE).
Note: Only use glow plugs with identical specifications. Do not install a mixture of specifications.

Information: To do this, determine the version of the removed glow plugs and the version of the glow output stage by
entering the part numbers (1, 2) in the EPC and check.
Note: Only a glow output stage with the same specification as the glow plugs may be used.

specifications.
---------------------------------------6. Replace damaged glow plugs and glow plugs with the wrong specification with the glow plugs determined earlier
from the EPC (see AR15.20-S-4111SE).
Note: Only use glow plugs with identical specifications.

---------------------------------------7. If necessary, replace the glow output stage with the approved glow output stage determined earlier from the EPC
(see AR15.20-S-4500SE).
