Some customers may comment on the wheel speed sensor being inoperative.
Technicians may find the following DTCs set:

•

C0035: Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

•

C0040: Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

•

C0045: Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

•

C0055: Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

GM Engineering is attempting to determine the root cause of the above condition. Engineering has a need to
gather information on vehicles PRIOR to repair that may exhibit this condition. As a result, this information will be
used to "root cause" the customer's concern and develop/validate a field fix.

Cause

Correction
If you encounter a vehicle with the above concern, perform the following checks listed below and contact the engineer below with your findings.

•

Check the routing for the wheel speed sensor harness to ensure no twists and/or is not touching any components.

•

Visually inspect the wheel speed sensor harness for damage (cut or rubbed through).

•

Take pictures of the wheel speed sensor and the clip orientation.
