ISSUE
Some 2020 early-production New Aire coaches may have been shipped with a hole through
the driver’s side floor into the wheel well area.
UNITS AFFECTED
Please refer to the attached population list for affected production numbers and VINs.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Contact your Newmar Service Account Manager to obtain authorization and to order parts.
Follow the attached instructions to fill and seal the hole.

How to Seal the Hole on Early-Production 2020 New Aire Coaches
Issue
Unknown to Newmar, some 2020 early-production New Aire coaches may have been shipped with a hole
through the driver’s side floor into the wheel well area.
Required Parts
Order the following parts from the Newmar Parts Department:
• 1 ea. Black Sikaflex (Newmar part # 111474)
• 1 ea. Aluminum .030 Piece (Newmar part # 75507A)
• .008 ea. 8 x 1 Black Screws (Newmar part # 135657)
Repair
1. Air up the coach, and turn the wheels to the right.
2. Check in the wheel well for the hole (it will look similar to
picture).
3. Cut the piece of aluminum into a 5 ½” square (approximately).
4. Remove some caulk on both sides of hole so the aluminum
cover will sit flat against the wheel well all the way to the
corner.
5. From the wheel well, use spray foam to fill the cavity in the
floor.
6. Install a piece of .030
aluminum, approximately
5 ½” square, to cover the
hole from the wheel well.
7. Seal the piece of
aluminum using black
Sikaflex, and install eight
screws.
8. Seal the corner, edges, and screw heads using black Sikaflex.
