FOLLOW YOUR INTERNAL SAFETY PROCEDURES.
PROCEDURE
1.1.
Check the fuel tank for the type of washers installed. Check only one washer and not each one. If the washer
is white (nylon), there is no action to take.
This type of washer needs to
be replaced at the fourteen
places.
If this type of washer is present,
there is no action to take.

To replace the washers: remove one bolt at a time, replace the washer by a 10568958, apply a thread adhesive
such as Loctite 242 or equivalent (# 9985283) before tightening to 5.1 lb-ft (7 N•m) and apply a torque marker.
