Issue
Loss of bolt may result in detachment of the jack and the jack handle, due to substitution
of the required locknut with a standard nut.
Verification/Confirmation
Verify all C150 D2RE and C200 D2RE trailers have the nylon locking nut. Refer to the
proper inspection and repair instructions in the Service Instructions section below.
Resolution
All affected C150 D2RE and C200 D2RE trailers should follow the appropriate procedure
to make the recommended correction. Please reference Instruction Sheet A060X089,
available on QuickServe Online (https://quickserve.cummins.com).

This repair must be done by a qualified and authorized technician.
Installation of the M6 Bolt and the Nylon Locking Nut
Trailer Jack Nut Inspection and Repair:
• If the nut is a standard nut as shown in Figure 1, replace it with the nylon locking nut
as shown in Figure 2
• If the nut is the nylon locking nut as shown in Figure 2, no repair is required
• For proper torque installation, the nylon locking nut should be tightened to the shaft
with a gap of 1 mm to 2 mm. See Figure 3. No torque requirement is specified, as
the nut is self-locking.
