These latest level programs MUST be installed into the affected vehicles as soon as possible, (such
as at the time of pre-delivery inspection etc). An affected vehicle CANNOT be handed over to the customer before these updates are performed. These programs are now available, but at this time Lotus
TechCentre DOES NOT include the option to download these .crp files.
ACTION:
- As a temporary measure the .crp files have been added to the Lotus Dealer Portal. Once downloaded,
these files can be installed into any affected vehicle using your Lotus TechCentre laptop* and VCD
(Vehicle Communication Device) part number T000T1472F.
*Although Lotus TechCentre is not required for the update procedure, the dedicated TechCentre laptop must be used as the required VCD software is already installed.
- Check and identify any affected vehicles from your inventory stock, dealer demonstrators and customer records and ensure that this campaign action is performed at the first opportunity.
- Affected vehicles will be displayed if their VIN is entered on DC611 on Lotus Dealer Connect (campaign number 2019/13). A VIN list is also shown on page 3 of this bulletin.
Lotus TechCentre Laptop Preparation:
1. From the home page of the Lotus Dealer Portal the .crp program zip files are
located in: Aftersales>'Evora GT ECU
and TCU. CRP FILES FOR FEDERAL
VEHICLES' folder, (highlighted in yellow).
2.Download the zip file and save it onto
the desktop of your Lotus TechCentre
laptop.

To ensure that Lotus Cars has a record confirming that the calibration ID’s are now updated for that
specific VIN, please take a screenshot of the Lotus TechCentre ‘Vehicle Information’ screen once the
vehicles ECU and TCU programs are updated and forward the screenshot with the relevant VIN and
claim number information to Lotus Cars USA (Brian/Dave please confirm email address).
CHARGES:
Labor time for carrying out this procedure may be claimed by submitting a bulk entry claim on Lotus
Connect, option DC603, Bulk Entry Campaign, campaign number 2019/13, for 0.6 hrs.
