Technical Service Bulletin Notification TSB #19-036

Dear Valued Dealer:
Jayco has determined that certain Model Year 2019-2020 Emblem, Precept, Precept Prestige and
2019 Seneca motorhomes require a service appointment to validate a false reading on the
generator hour meter. Repair consist of installation of a diode in the hour meter circuit to
prevent interference / false readings.

Our records indicate that the following unit is currently part of the inventory at your dealership
and requires the Bulletin repair.

REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS

 Locate the AGS control module.
 Typically located in a bathroom cabinet or a cabinet in the living area.
FIG 2:
 AGS control module in the cabinet.

Locate the orange wire with black stripe connected to terminal #2 of the AGS Module.
Use the small flat blade screwdriver and disconnect this wire from terminal #2.

Strip the orange wire with black stripe approximately 3/8 inch.
Crimp a butt connector on to the end of the orange/black striped wire.
Crimp the diode provided to the other end of the butt connector.
THE DIODE IS POLARIZED – CONNECT THE DIODE AS FOLLOWS:
SILVER BAND END OF THE DIODE CONNECTS TO TERMINAL #2 OF THE AGS CONTROL MODULE.
BLACK END CONNECTS TO THE BUTT CONNECTOR.

 Tuck the diode and the orange/black stripe wire back into the loom.
The addition of the diode at the AGS controller will prevent the hours meter from activating when the generator is
not being used.

generator hour meter. Repair consist of installation of a diode in the hour meter circuit to

Our records indicate that your motorhome is affected by this Service Bulletin. Please contact
your nearest Jayco/Entegra dealer to schedule an appointment and present this letter as
authorization to have the procedure completed at no cost to you. The bulletin repair will take
approximately one half hour.
If you have sold or traded your vehicle, or for any reason cannot have this service performed,
please contact the Jayco Motorized Customer Service Department at 800-517-9137.
