PURPOSE
This bulletin contains important new model service
information and features for the 2020 Eclipse Cross
(U.S. models only). Review the details that follow to
familiarize yourself regarding new features and
options. Refer to the 2020 Eclipse Cross Service
Manual on MEDIC, MDL, or CD (p/n MSCD-020B-2020),
and the Owner's Manual for details on these and other
features.

MITSUBISHI Badge
New for all 2020 Mitsubishi vehicles the
“MITSUBISHI” badge has been eliminated from the
rear of all models. Instead, the model name
appears on the left, and the trim name (LE, SE, SEL)
is shown on the right side.

New 16-inch Wheel Design
New for all 2020 ES (2WD and S-AWC models), the
silver painted 16-inch wheel has been replaced with
a new design - a two-tone alloy wheel with a
machine finish and black accents.
NOTE: Photo is for reference only and may not be
accurate for U.S. Models.

Panoramic Sunroof Package with Roof Rails
A Panoramic Sunroof Package with power
panoramic sunroof and roof rails is now available
for SE models (previously only offered with the SEL
S-AWC Touring Package).

A new engine ECU has been adopted for 2020 model year Eclipse Cross, with changes and additions
for improved diagnostics.

When a fault is detected on fuel injection components, the vehicle has a DTC and a PERMANENT DTC.

FCM / LDW / AHB
For added safety, Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) w/ Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure
Warning (LDW), and Automatic High Beam (AHB) systems are now standard equipment on SE and
SEL (previously available with SEL Touring Package).

For 2020 Eclipse Cross, Forward Collision Mitigation with High Speed Braking Capability (FCM-HSB)
and Pedestrian Detection, and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) are available for SEL models with the
SEL Touring Package.
Active Yaw Control (AYC)
All 2WD models now have the Active Yaw Control (AYC) brake control technology for enhanced
cornering performance and driving confidence.

CONVENIENCE
Firmware Over The Air (FOTA) Updates for Mitsubishi Connect
The Telematics Control Unit (TCU) firmware can now be updated by the user through notification
on the “My Mitsubishi Connect” app. Mitsubishi Connect comes standard on SE and SEL and
includes a 2-year trial subscription to Safeguard and Remote services (refer to TSB-18-00-001 for
a brief description of these services). Enrollment in the My Mitsubishi Connect app is required for
this feature.
