Information to the field
As a result of continuous product monitoring, Automobili
Lamborghini Spa found that the Body Sense cable under
the passenger’s seat gets pinched in some cases and causes
a cable wear due to lack of protection and bulging edges.

Field solution

Rework the BoSe wiring following the instructions
specific for Coupè and Spyder. Operation A is only
for cars in the presence of airbag warning light on.

Order the following part number which are connected to
the operation required:

Warning: before starting with the repair, log to the Warranty portal and check through VIN Info:

The vehicle is effectively involved by these bulletin instructions; some cars may not be included
even when they are in the VIN range.

The procedure is identified by a letter (e.g. A, B or
C…etc. whose differences are explained below in
this bulletin), taking care to order and use the parts
corresponding to the assigned procedure.

Warranty Claim instructions
To claim the reimbursement log into the warranty system
management on the Lamborghini Portal and consults the
manual “W.Claim “ available on the portal for the download .
Select the desired campaign and go on with the claim insertion, read carefully the windows message content and
choose the option button corresponding to the operation
performed .

Instructions A : All versions

4. Use torque wrench/screwdriver to remove bolt #1.
5. Remove bolt #2.

In the presence of Airbag warning light ON: contact
technical support for further guidance through a warranty
request.

Instructions B : Coupé
1. Unhook pattern and open it.

6. Remove ECU.
2. Use clamp to cut tie strip #1.

Warning: Pay attention not to damage wiring harness.

3. Use clamp to cut tie strip #2.

7. Use fork to unplug the Body sense connector and extend
wiring.

Warning: Pay attention not to damage wiring harness.

8. Use clamp to cut pin bulging edges.

11. Add 2 protection points spaced 200 mm.

Warning: Pay attention not to damage wiring harness.

12. Remove wire connector.
9. Wrap Body sense wiring with TwistTube and push tube
according to image 2 until reach wire extremity as shown
in figure (A).

Note: Pay attention not to remove the clip.

10. Wrap 80 mm Coroplast 800 to fix TwistTube on connector side.

13. Detach pattern.

Note: Pay attention not to remove the clip.

14. Add 80 mm Coroplast 800 to protect metal pan portion
shown in figure 2.

17. Fix and pull strip #1.

18. Put strip #2 through previous plastic pin cavity.

15. Close the pattern and insert the pin following the arrow.

Note: Only slightly close the strip, do not tighten it completely.

19. Put strip #3 through previous plastic pin cavity.

Note: Pay attention not to remove the clip.

16. Relocate Body Sense wire.

22. Cut leftover strip portion as shown.

Note: Only slightly close the strip, do not tighten it completely.

20. Relocate wiring and plug Body sense connector.

Warning: Pay attention not to damage wiring harness.

23. Mount ECU.

24. Install and tighten ECU bolts with torque wrench to
2.5 Nm .

Note: Wiring must have the path shown in figure 2.

21. Pull strips.

25. Close hook pattern.

6. Wrap Body sense wiring with TwistTube and push tube
according to image 2 until reach wire extremity as shown
in figure (A)

9. Remove wire connector.

Note: Pay attention not to remove the clip.

10. Detach pattern.

7. Wrap 80 mm Coroplast 800 to fix TwistTube on connector side.
Note: Pay attention not to remove the clip.

11. Add 80 mm Coroplast 800 to protect metal pan portion
shown in figure 2.

8. Add 2 protection points spaced 200 mm.
