Complaint:
The address book of the mobile phone may not be transferred. The message "Data being read … Please wait" is

shown on the display (A40/8) of the COMAND Online (A40/3, A26/17).

The complaint may occur regardless of the model of mobile phone used.
Cause:
Current software release of COMAND Online (A40/3, A26/17).
Remedy:
Please make sure that automatic address book download is activated in the Settings of COMAND Online (A40/3,

A26/17).

BR217/222:

Repeat or perform new initial startup of COMAND Online (A40/3) with Regio ECU software 09/2017.

After the software update the software number is E229.7

If software E229.7, 17/12.05 is already installed and XENTRY Diagnosis cannot find a later version, repeat the initial

startup of COMAND Online (A26/17) using the Regio ECU software 09/2017 or newer and the attached .ini data pool.

To do this, save the file on an empty USB flash drive at the top level in the root folder. Please make sure that the file

has an .ini suffix only and not .jpg! Insert USB flash drive into diagnostic system before starting the programming procedure (for Kit2 into Connect, for Kit3 into Tab) and start the adaptations/updates for the control unit software (online).

After the update assess the customer complaint again.

BR205/253:

Repeat or perform initial startup of COMAND Online (A26/17) with Regio ECU software 07/2018 or newer.

If no newer software is detected and version E232.6, 18/09.03, is already installed in the COMAND Online (A26/17),

please perform the following procedure:

Save the attached .ini data pool on an empty USB flash drive at the top level in the root folder. Please make sure that
