Produced in the USA and available as an electronic document. Hard copy documents are printed in USA on recycled paper containing
a minimum of 50% wastepaper and 10% post-consumer waste.

SERVICE:
Repair the battery according to the methods in VIDA.
In the rare event that a complete battery is to be replaced, the battery being installed may not have the
same cell chemistry as the battery being removed.
A unique Software Product may be necessary, see attachment.
The Software Product changes the Variant Attribute in the vehicle to match that of the replacement
battery.
This Software Product is not needed when a battery module or other internal components are replaced.

In the rare event that a complete battery or battery module is to be replaced, a vehicle report marked
Support Needed is required before ordering the battery.
