Quick reference information and description of remote start cancellation codes.

Service
Some questions to be asked first are:
1. Is the Low fuel light on or fuel gauge below ¼ tank full ?
2. Are all buttons being pressed fast enough in the correct order ? Press lock button once, and then remote start
button twice within 3 seconds
3. Is a door, hood, or trunk open ?
Usually the answer to one of these questions is yes.

Also, things to note:
 The remote start (RS) has 10 minute duration.
 You get 2 cycles (of 10 minutes), then you have to start the car normally to re-set.
 If all is well, the parking lights will flash with every fob stroke (so one time on the lock, and then twice on the RS
button will result in three times parking lights flashing…)
 The range is approx. 50 feet, close enough to see the visual confirmations such as parking lights.
