Clips on headlining may come loose, causing the headlining to hang down. This is more common in hot
climate.
SERVICE:
Headlining can be repaired by gluing the clips back on. See repair instruction TJ 29245.

the old glue.

before starting to glue the clips.

Note: The base of the clip needs to be
prepped by scuffing the surface with
sandpaper.
Caution! Apply the adhesive carefully as illustrated.
Note! The glue should be applied generously. The clip
should be imbedded in the glue to create an overlap on
the clip.
The critical part is that the glue goes over
the edges of the clip.
Note: Glue P/N 0893301900 is black in color. Picture
shows a previous generation of the glue.

Note! Make sure that the mating faces are at
a minimum temperature of 20°C.
Important: Notice the position of the clips.
The opening should be facing the center of the
headliner.
The headliner surface needs to be prepped
properly by removing all the glueuntil reaching
headliner surface.
Important: Wait 24hr before reinstalling the
headliner.
Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
