Dear Colleagues,
Aston Martin launched the ATEQ Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) tool to Dealers in 2015 (refer to SPL-00-0555
Special Service Tools for Current Models). It is applicable for all current Aston Martin vehicles and is compatible with
most TPMS. This includes Smart and Beru systems. The tool is necessary to activate and configure a vehicle’s TPMS, and
to get data from the system. The tool is also able to check the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) function of the vehicle key.
After feedback from the Dealer network, Aston Martin decided to issue the instructions that follow.

TPMS sensor detection
Use the TPMS tool to do the actions that follow:
• Check the condition of the battery.
• Identify the location of a sensor.
• Check the operation of the sensor and other TPMS components.

(a) Single sensor reading

Turn the tool on (refer to Figure 1).

Press the right arrow to find ‘TRIGGER TPM’ and
press ‘OK’ (refer to Figure 2).

Select ‘1 SENSOR’ and press ‘OK’ (refer to Figure 3).

Follow the instruction and press one of the vehicle
key buttons (refer to Figure 18).
