PURPOSE: This will mitigate a VIN reflection on the windshield from the drivers field of view.
Overview:
1. Verify the VIN glare reflection from the driver seat position
2. Remove the valance panel from the dash pad top
3. Locate the VIN plate and the instrument panel bolt
4. Place the foam strip on the I/P lower location
5. Reassemble dash, ensuring the foam is not visible on the VIN window or through the dash panel
The tools as shown ,will be required to perform this
set of inspections and adjustments.

3. Peel back a quarter or half of the adhesive cover for the strip and apply to the panel (fig 3a). Use the
pick tool as needed to aid in manipulating the foam into position.

4. Verify the foam strip does not peak into the VIN window from the windshield side (fig. 4a). Adjust as
needed, and reassemble the dash.
