Hendrickson Trailer Commercial Vehicle Systems announces a change to the air piloted valve (3-way),
VS-23588. Beginning in late-January 2019, Hendrickson is changing suppliers of the
air piloted valve, and the new replacement part number will be VS-38689. The new air piloted valve
functions the same as its predecessor, though it differs in appearance. The new valve is bronze in color
with a tapered valve body attached to a thicker base plate with rounded edges (see images below).
The mounting hole spacing has also increased slightly from 1.59” to 1.625”.
