Xantrex Freedom X ‐ 1200W inverter.
Reversing the positive and negative battery cables will blow a fuse in the Freedom X and void your warranty.
The low battery shutdown for the inverter can be manually selected by the user from 10.5 to 12.1 VDC.
When the inverter is power saving and the Freedom X is inverting without a load, it draws less than 0.6 amp of current.
Display/Control panel is located on the power inverter.

4. Three select buttons ‐ Change status information displayed on the screen. Also, changes inverter settings.
5. Inverter Power Button ‐ Press for inverter operation. Down is ON, Up is OFF.

• Are the truck batteries in good condition?
• Are all DC connections clean and tight?
◦ DC battery cables should be torqued to 80 in‐lbf (9 N‐m) at the inverter.
• Have the configuration settings been changed that may affect operation?
• Attempt to power the inverter on manually using the button on the control panel.
◦ If the inverter powers up, check the parameter values shown in Table 1 below.

Ignition control requires a voltage signal to the ACC input (Ignition signal input), and the Ignition control switch must be on. The inverter will not
work if there is not a voltage signal, or the switch is not on. Refer to page 31 of the Owner's Manual
