Cause
Design Update.
Solution
A recent design update has changed the fuel tank strap insulator from a ribbed design to a smooth
design. See the picture bellow.
The image on the left is the original design with a ribbed surface and the image on the right is the updated design with a smooth surface.
Note: This design update applies to all Mack and Volvo units configured with round fuel tanks.
