This is a precautionary reminder that Cummins
ISX12N (near zero emission) engines (including Pony Tanks used for temporary fueling) require lower fuel pressure input than previous models. A retro-fit is available to convert existing Pony Tanks to the lower fuel pressure.

1. Introduction
The Cummins Westport ISX12N near-zero emissions engine requires a lower fuel
pressure (87 psi) than previous models which require 125 psi.
This affects the regulator in Agility fuel systems: If the vehicle engine is an ISX12N, make
sure the regulator output is 87 psi, part number 10306975.
This fuel pressure requirement to the engine also affects Pony Tanks used for temporary
fueling.
A retro-fit kit is available to convert existing Pony Tanks to the lower fuel pressure. The
part number is 24409010, and applies to Pony Tank part numbers 24400000, 24409010
and 24409000. Refer to service bulletin ENP-616, “Conversion Kit, Pony Tank, 87 PSI
Regulator & Filter Conversion” for more details.
The 87 psi fuel regulator setpoint selected for the ISX12N is compatible with all Cummins
6.7L, 9L and 12L natural gas engines.
2. Affected Units
CNG fuel systems (including Pony Tanks) for vehicles equipped with the Cummins ISX12N
near-zero emissions natural gas engine.
