Summary
"N63 Engine: Fuel System Low-pressure Sensor and Low-pressure Metal Line Installation Procedures.Installation of the fuel system low-pressure sensor is critical to proper operation. Failure to install the lowpressure sensor and applicable metal supply line can lead to a failure. Always follow the applicable repair instruction (13 53 594 ""Replacing fuel low-pressure sensor N63"") when replacing the the low-pressure sensor unless otherwise specified in SI B11 06 14, ""N63 engine: Customer Care Package."" SI B11 06 14 states to replace the entire low-pressure metal fuel line with the low-pressure sensor. The following illustrations and descriptions will help identify the applicable low-pressure sensor and lowpressure metal line combinations. for an o-ring (1) can only be used with a Sensata low-pressure sensor. Part Number 7 547 605 (2) Do not install a Bosch
low-pressure sensor on this low-pressure metal fuel line.Bosch Metal Line Identification: Low-pressure line without a machined area for an o-ring (1) can only be used with a Bosch low-pressure sensor. Part Number 7 622 850 (2) Do not install a Sensata low-pressure sensor on this low-pressure metal fuel line.All parts from these repairs are subject to 100% return and inspection at the WPRC to ensure appropriate usage of parts. Returned parts which do not meet the correct replacement criteria (part number/part index), as described in the procedure attachment, will be debited. Any damage that occurs to the vehicle and/or towing charges as a result of an improper repair will be the responsibility of the dealer. WARRANTY INFORMATION The low-pressure metal fuel line with the low-pressure sensor is being returned requested for inspection by the Warranty Parts Return Center (WPRC). All fuel feed lines received by the WPRC must have the brackets and sensor attached and in place. The WPRC will also be checking the component's part numbers. If the part does not pass inspection, the claim will be debited."

INFORMATION
Installation of the fuel system low-pressure sensor is critical to proper operation. Failure to install the lowpressure sensor and applicable metal supply line can lead to a failure.
Always follow the applicable repair instruction (13 53 594 “Replacing fuel low-pressure sensor N63”) when
replacing the the low-pressure sensor unless otherwise specified in SI B11 06 14, “N63 engine: Customer
Care Package.”
SI B11 06 14 states to replace the entire low-pressure metal fuel line with the low-pressure sensor.

Sensata (1) Small plastic housing

The Sensata sensor (1) has a concave tip
and utilizes an o-ring to make a seal
against the metal line (3).
The Bosch sensor (2) has a convex
sealing area and will not seal on a
Sensata metal fuel line.
Sensata (3) Larger metal body

Do not transfer the o-ring from the
Sensata sensor (3) to the Bosch sensor
(4).
Do not install with any type of liquid
sealing material or hard-sealing material
(brass, paper, aluminum seal ring, etc.)
to any portion of the Bosch low-pressure
sensor sealing sufaces.
The low-pressure metal fuel line has a
part number (4) engraved in the line
near the pressure sensor (2) and
mounting screws (3).
