SITUATION
When accelerating, there is a knocking, or vibration, felt from the center of the vehicle. This
sensation can be easily duplicated when accelerating with the transmission in 2nd or 3rd gear
(manual mode).
CAUSE
Torque flex in the rear driveshaft.
CORRECTION
Replace the rear driveshaft with improved parts.
PROCEDURE
Follow Repair Instruction 26 11 000 Removing and installing propeller shaft (inserted) completely.
